I came real close to ordering one. I really liked the idea of them taking my measurements and custom fitting certain parts, and obviously the price is nice. I looked long and hard for reviews and comments but few could be found. What I did find was all positive. I ended up getting a great deal on a Scott that had a scratch on the frame behind the crank. Can't even see it and they took $400 off the price. I also wanted the typical perks of buying from an LBS, although I haven't been impressed by them so far.

Always sort of wondered how they make any money, given their pricing model. Are they just a massive-volume operation? If so, I would have thought we would have seen and heard more from owners than we seem to.

I’m the OP of one of the threads above. I have been gone from home and my bike since January (I’m an active duty US Marine), but I have nothing but praise for my Empire and the Fezzari staff.
If you have any questions, just call the shop. They were super helpful with me and walked me though the entire process. I just ordered a set of November Cafe Racer’s with CK hubs that will be going on as soon as I get home in May as a treat to myself for the past few months and Ill update the thread above.

I wonder where the name "Fezzari" came from? Sounds like a cheap toy being marketed to 8 year old boys.

I've had a Fezzari Fore Cr3 with Di2 for a couple of years. It's been an awesome bike and the company has been awesome to work with on tune-ups, parts, etc. I have seen the Empire, but I have not had a chance to ride one. I would definitely pull the trigger on an Empire if I was in the market.

Be that as it may, they used to use the Ferrari font and their ads were blatantly just bikini models holding the bikes. It's good they've grown up, but some of us remember that.

I also bought a Fezzari Empire SL about the same time as BlueFalconActual. The bike is great, certainly no complaints there. The company let me mix and match components, which enabled me to get exactly what I wanted, and the customer service also great at responding right away. Mail ordering a bike is a bit of a risk but if you know what geometry will fit you, then it should be fine. They initially forgot to send my pedals but followed up no problem. I also had an issue with a bent derailleur hanger on shipment, which they replaced no problem (although the included through-axle nut was a different thread pitch than the original, which was momentarily confusing).

The cranks are 175. I'm 6'4" and the bike is a 61.
