Do you have experience/opinion of this bike company?

Models | Flying Machine

I have been lusting at these bikes, there are a bit too expensive for my taste and town, would probably get stolen.

Are they over priced?

I am generally new/returning to biking and a bit credulous as to pricing and quality, I've heard good things about Giant bikes.

Right now, at this moment, $1 US gets $1.36 AUS.

Still pricey as hell, IMO. But the product looks well made.

Giant is a VERY good manufacturer. Comparing the style of bike from FM, Giant will save you a ton of $$.

Gorgeous bikes. There are a ton of fantastic custom builders these days though. More choices than money to spend on them all.

Don't know the company. Evidently a boutique maker. Pretty, and pretty expensive.

As far as Giant is concerned, yes they make good bikes. In fact they make everything from ordinary to excellent bikes depending on how much you want to spend, they are one the biggest, if not the biggest, bike manufacturers in the world. You'll get more for ypur money if ypu buy Giant than if you go for a custom builder like that illustrated, but in terms of value there is little to choose between the manistream brands - Giant, Trek, Specialized, etc. etc.
