Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Could use a URL shortener, if they still exist.

I've got to go back to the shop anyways to pick up some new props since mine are old and keep spinning off the shafts, might as well fix my error
What do you have? I wasn't aware micros had upgradeable motors.

The one I have has the props inside protective ducts so running into things isn't really a problem. The only real annoying thing is when I crash on the other level of my house than I'm sitting in, then having to get up and try to find it

I've got the old Inductrix FPV. There was quite a large aftermarket source of upgrades back a few years ago. I think that the modified original Inductrix became known as the "Tiny Whoop". They all use 6mm diameter brushed motors.

I was informed at the hobby store that FPV multirotors are no longer all that popular. I was surprised since man they were everywhere.

This is the one I have:

That said, there have been times you wind up at a party and that's all they got.

That's when I give myself a reminder to never come back there again.

Gee, never heard of those. I think most FPV units now are dual-purpose for photos also. I have a DJI Spark mini drone just for fun, it's a solid performer but the short battery life may drive me to upgrade one day.

My Dad used to get trees on Christmas Eve, because that was traditional but it also because his strings of lights were the 'one goes out they all go out' kind and if he put the tree up any earlier than that at least one string would be out by Christmas.
