Nice bicycle . Has been in storage for years . Was always careful with it as I love the colors and one day wanted to use it as my personal bike. When I start riding bikes for once lol. But anyway this frame is quite desirable. Dont know what it would take to get it road worthy . Looks pretty nice minus the dust. Dura ace chris king Vector comp cinelli.

Cheap Alyeska frame. Fork appears to be MIA. $60 with a crank, stem, and assorted bits. A good deal but I don't quite have the energy (or garage space) to play with another big 80s touring bike

$100 for a Bianchi with some chrome. I cannot identify model or year. Ad specifies medium size, 18" wheels but looks like 58 to me.

Not my size, but I may be able to facilitate. I've asked seller for more pictures, and SN. I'm guessing late 70's?

I don't know if I buy the seller's description of what TreTubi is. I'd always heard that the main triangle was one thing (usually SL or SP) and the rest was something lower grade, like Aelle, Cromor or even another brand like Falck. It wouldn't make sense to use SP in the stays and forks...
Still, this is a stunning example from a great builder and a fair price.

https://boston.craigslist.org/gbs/bo...105694136.html

Ciocc - $350 (Scituate)

NOS late 1980’s Vintage Ciocc Italian racing frame set . This frame was built up with a period correct Campagnolo SR group but never ridden. Frame is built with Columbus Tretubi tubing, three main triangles are Columbus SL tubing while forks and stays are Columbus SP, complete chromed fork and rear seat/chain stays. Stunning paint job! Pearlescent white with silver “retinato” fade! Decals and chrome are perfect. Very nice pantographing on the fork crown and seat caps. Frame measures 54cc seat tube and 54cc top tube. 130 rear spacing so it can accommodate 10/11 speed shifting. Seatpost is 27.2, BB and HS are Italian threads. This frame when it was built up was part of my personal collection of over 20 vintage bikes. Limited space forcing me to thin my collection. Priced to sell. Please call or text 781-632-2892 addition pics are available. Thx!

He responded that it's on eBay if you want more pics. (Seems a little cranky). Here's the listing, which does include a BB/SN shot.

I think the 720 is too high, given cosmetics issues and scary economy. You need to decide if your 60 to 180 day window and the DC market justify the price.

Exactly what I was thinking. I don't really know how much less though to offer. My initial reaction from the photos was $250-275 but I doubt the seller will accept a hundred under list.

Tempting! I love the seat cluster, lugs, and the stem. Very creative, not just another "rando-inspired" bike. By the way, the brake posts on the blue frame are for centerpull brakes, not cantis.

Oh. I see. Yeah, they're too high up. Never seen that before. Is that what's referred to as direct mountin ?

Yep. The brake pivots are mounted on those bosses, like with cantis. Makes the whole thing a little more rigid, because now the brake is attached at two places close to the pads, as opposed to one place far away from the pads (fork crown). And maybe a bit lighter now that you don't need a mounting plate to mount the brake at the fork crown.

I'd ask for some measurements if you're really interested. That looks bigger than 50 to me. TT and DT come really close to one another on most 50cms I've seen.
