Please help me ID these Campy hubs

I just picked a haul of used wheels and in it is a set with these Campagnolo hubs. I am very old school and have never even been on a bike with a cassette. But I have a few "modern" frames from the 90's with a 130mm rear spacing; which these are. I am not sure what model and year of manufacture to ascribe and I am OCD enough to not want to mix and match on my bikes, so any help in identifying these would be very much appreciated.

Not that it matters, but it might be a set of 1997s (Campagnolo Record) due to the lack of additional shaping of the freehub splines. With what appears to be the right skewers to boot. The 1998 Record had more sloping on the splines than what appears in your picture.

1998 Record freehub snip below:

OP also needs to know these hubs are highly sought after if the bearings are not shot (difficult to obtain spare parts) - as they retain the old polished and curvy design of the older hubs and/but yet it is both Campagnolo 10 and 11 gear compatible. There are retro guys around that want the new stuff but likes polished hubs. Have a look at ebay and you will see what they sell for (!).

I have some sets of these and they are great looking and performing.

Hmmm...to me they don't look hi-polished enough to be Record, but maybe they just got dull over time. I'm leaning towards Chorus (but don't really know).

klasse The typical giveaway is the oil band around the center of the hub. Any AL part not coated or anodized will corrode over time. They will shine up like a mirror.

BTW they are about 48 years old.

Whatever they are, they're modern enough to know that tied and soldered spokes contributed nothing to a wheel's performance.

Interesting that the tied and soldered spokes are only on the non drive side.

The rust on the axle nuts will cause them to fail, break and fall off, which in turn will allow your wheel to fall off the bike and cause you great bodily harm. I will send a self addressed postage paid box to you so that you can send them and recycle them appropriately to save your life.

I think I read somewhere that heavier riders would T&S the NDS spokes as they have the lower tension.
