"The Pirate" seat, only $350!

https://losangeles.craigslist.org/ws...193820558.html

Some kind of rodent, possibly a gerbil embroidered into the seat. Could be Marco, but who would want to sit on HIS face? Whatever it is, I would not want to be sitting on it.

This hand crafted masterpiece appeared on a local Facebook selling page. I've resisted the temptation to go and give it a test ride.

What is going on with those handlebars? Did they collapse from despair?

I really like my Voyageur but at this price, I might consider letting it go.

Gitane track bike: https://kansascity.craigslist.org/bi...199778454.html

One crappy image of a beaten-to-hell frame with what is clearly a replacement fork, and a not-terribly-informative parts list: $2K please!

Hey, this is nice. Citibike must be letting the public have their old bikes, probably giving them out to employees or something--after painting them black so there's no confusion later, of course. (Although I do wonder why they didn't take the docking mechanism off of this one.) Anyway, "Tommy" probably works for Citibike, was given one of the old bikes, decided he doesn't want it, and so he's selling it on Craigslist. It's still a great deal! $150 is a good price for those heavy duty wheels and tires alone!

Unless . . . you don't think . . .

"Bicycle for Sale"

Oh, really? So in the Bikes (for sale by owner) category of Craigslist, you title your listing, "Bicycle for Sale." That really narrows it down. Tells us quite a bit. Thanks for all the information. Please don't pass up this special talent. Maybe you should also write Bikeforums thread titles on the side, like, "My latest project," "Check this out," and "Please help."

My city abandoned their city bike project in favor of scooters. I think they were auctioned off, they’re starting to trickle into the local used market via flippers after reconditioning.

hah, 'designed by ishiwata'..... ishiwata made nice frame tubing, was cheaper than Reynolds and Columbus... I just sold a similar vintage Trek TX300 with Ishiwata tubing and a nice mix of 105 shifters and Ultegra 52:38 cranks, for like $300 as a commuter special. newish set of conti gatorbacks, bike rode great... even had bar end shifters as an upgrade, and I put new bar tape on it for sale.

It's a $50 bike, no doubt, but Condor Fuji?!? Fuji saddle, even a Fuji ladies' saddle (I swapped out dozens of these back in the day) that was a popular upgrade for female customers does not alter the Condor-ness of that bike. "Needs paint job, tires pumped, and no kick stand" So...needs paint job, needs tires pumped and needs no kick stand?

https://richmond.craigslist.org/bik/...202249466.html

Men’s Condor Fuji Bike - $50 (Midlothian)

bicycle frame material: other/unknown

make / manufacturer: Condor
wheel size: other/unknown
Selling a men’s Condor Fuji bike. Needs work; great project for a bicycle repair person. Needs paint job, tires pumped, and no kick stand. 37” Adult bike. Make an offer.
