Pinarello, model and tubing question.
I need help identifying this Pinarello. I think it was produced in 1992/93, and it is equipped with Campagnolo Record and Delta brakes (3rd generation). All Campagnolo parts. Pantographed Pinarello stem and chainring. Original paint. I don't know if the tubes are made by Columbus or Oria (no decals on the frame). And also no model name on the frame.
Does anyone know what model this is and if it is made with Columbus or Oria tubing?
Thank you in advance!

Any info would be much appreciated. The frame is in excellent condition. The Record group set has some wear but is working perfectly...

Looks very similar to the Banesto team bikes that Indurain rode to TDF wins. Presence of interior helical splines in seattube would indicate if it was SLX or TSX, oria also used splines that run strait, non-helical.

Thanks GrayJay, I will look inside the seattube when I get the bike. Just bought it and the seller was not sure about the tubing.

I do not have answers, but I am following this thread.
I passed on a Banesto team frame/fork (early 90s) from Spain and regret to this day.

A guy in Spain on e-bray, had several Banesto Team bikes from early 90s - about a year ago. He had several bikes from at least 2 Banesto years; but there were 2 (or more) that had rider names on the toptube and were a different paint from the others. He provided lots of detailed pics showing good to excellent condition on all. The bikes with rider's names were approx $1,000 USD for frame and fork. The newer frames/fork were slightly higher. Remember these were Team bikes (or very good copies). The Delta brakes you have are sought after by some. It needs more identification to peg a price. And of course knowing if there is a strong local market or will you face selling costs.
The crank arms look long for that frame - is it an optical hallucination?

The e-bay Buy-it-Now price was approx $1,000 for frame & fork, maybe a headset was included. I do not know what they sold for, the ebay listing did not sell. These were Banesto Team frames, Oria tubing.
In the end, I decided it was too expensive; then following up with the seller a month after the auctions were pulled, he informed me each had sold.

Are there any Pinarello experts here who would know what model this is? And if is it made with Columbus or Oria tubing? I have uploaded a few more pictures showing frame details.
Thanks!

My first guess is early 90's Montello but you've got no Columbus decals. Made of Columbus SLX, you can check for helical ribs on the inside of the seat tube. Bottom bracket looks to be investment cast and there is no bridge on the chainstays. The hidden cable guides also indicate Montello.
The straight rear brake bridge rules out Gavia and Stelvio and Asolo models. Stelvio also had a different fork crown. Yours has the fork crown that came along in the mid-80's. The mid-90's Team bike had Pinarello Event tubing, a chainstay bridge.
For an original paintjob, those decals are in AMAZING shape. Are you sure that is an original paintjob?
