Dahon curve i3 vs Dahon eezz d3

I'm thinking of replacing my Carryme that I've been riding for 4 years with either the curve i3 or eezz d3. I'm tired of the single geared Carryme and want something more stable. My short commute has a tiny 5%incline and I need to carry the bike up and down stairs. I'm 5ft 4in tall and weight 105 pounds so I figured that both these bikes will fit. I see the eezz on sale on ebay for $599.00 and Thorusa.com has the curve for $659.00. The curve has a long reputation for being a good little folder the eezz not so long. Is there any difference between the two that would make the choice clearer?

For $599 the EEZZ D3 sounds nice, and it folds smaller than my Curve D3. Plus, the fact the EEZZ D3 has a derailler instead of an internal geared hub (IGH), this means it's a lighter weight bike and a bit easier to carry.

I own the Curve D3, and I actually like it quite a bit. If the EEZZ D3 had an IGH I'd personally want to add it to my stable of bikes,...and my wife would want me dead! LOL!!!

1 suggestion, check out the Downtube Mini. It's got an 8 speed IGH, and it's going for $399. The fold isn't as small (I'm going to replace the handlebars with a straight bar, so it folds better), it's a bit heavier (it's got that 8 speed internal geared hub), and you'll need a velcro strap to secure it in the closed position (there's no magnets on the bike, and the fold isn't as creative as that on the EEZZ D3). Still, for the price, including a rear rack and rear fender (I put my own fender on the front), it's a heck of a bargain.
