Wife and son know I like to snark at the stuck up NoVA roadies, so they got me a Frosted Flakes kit and a "Spam" jersey

I didn't ask for much from the family because what I really got for Christmas was a new Bob Jackson World Tour frame to use for my commuter bike. I paid for it with my year-end bonus, and will swap all of the equipment off my current bike when it arrives. My birthday is in mid-January, which is when the frame is supposed to arrive, so my birthday present will be the few parts I need to build it up.

A new road bike:
Allowing me to turn my old road bike into my new commuter. Also got a cyclocomputer (for my new commuter), mini-tool, long-sleeve jersey, couple pair of cycling socks, full-fingered gloves, patch kit and a short-sleeved shirt for commuting when the weather warms.

I bought myself the GMC Denali road bike. Yes, I know it's not the best out there, but it's what I wanted. Now, I need some nice weather so I can take it for a spin.

No worries on the GMC. I rode a denali pro for two years and put some good miles on it. I got free weights so my arms can get some exercise, too.

That's cool! After going through a couple of threads here, my son and I decided to go for a quick ride. He has the kids version of the Denali, and he LOVES IT! Naturally, neither one of us dressed warm enough for the ride, so it was a quick spin around the block, but it did the trick. Now, we need to get weather gear sorted out before our New Years ride (on the mountain bikes).
EDIT: Are you implying the Denali is a heavy bike? :0P

Some clothes, notably an Ibex wool vest/jersey (Hannukah). Should be awesome over a base layer.
Also some hats and fleeces, and an REI gift card, but that stuff will prbably go towards me getting back into skiing.

Also a pair of army boots (no kidding!) that my bike shop guy convinced my wife are great for cold-weather riding (although I must say, they are pretty darn heavy), and a pair of "ice-fishing" gloves that my friend recommended to her. I've yet to find any gloves that keep my fingers as warm as mittens, though, so I'm a little skeptical on that last one. We'll find out...

A nashbar tool kit, bar ends for my commuter, schwinn trainer---doesn't work because it is missing a piece, and the manufacturer sent me the wrong one for a replacement...

A very happy and spoiled child.
My favorite gift was a book my 5 year old son made of various drawings and what not.
Cycling related:
-Shimano platform\spd pedals for my rarely ridden mountain bike. Usually used in snow or when hauling my son.
-A spinerval dvd for days I am unable to ride or when it is too dangerous
-A Dinotte 800L and a dinotte 400L headlight combo.
My wife picked me up quite a few workout related items like a pull up bar, mat, exercise ball, and what not.
