Veloce Monoplaner calipers. I think I will mix them with some older Campy brake levers and a Regina America 92 group I got from @Bianchigirll some time ago. Not sure what I'll hang them on, maybe just the Conti hanging in my basement.

Neat frame, very little information online about the make/model (but it's definitely not a GMC!):

Not exactly in the mail, but I just discovered I have a pair of Mavic Open 4 CD rims, 19mm clincher rims. I have absolutely no idea where they came from, no recollection of receiving them from anyone nor taking wheels apart which might have had them. It's like receiving a box unexpectedly in the mail from an unknown benefactor. They may go on the A-frame Gazelle. I've been wonder what to do about wheels for it.

Sometimes life throws you a donut instead of a curveball. Enjoy the donut!

Better stoppers for an old mountain bike. These were less than half price compared to the Mafac four dot style inserts that would be oe replacement. I'm not originalist with this bike, so it seemed to make sense

Wow, thank you! I think that has to be it, everything looks pretty much the same. Must be a re-badged M16.

A new old crankset for my McLean. The one I have on it has 175mm arms, which bother me, and it's boring, too.

I never thought I'd be so excited to get a NOS hose, but it completes the nice old black Bluemels frame pump that I got with my Carlton Continental recently. Makes it fit more snugly in the frame pegs and of course makes it functional again!

Stopped by the local bike co-op on my way home yesterday to rummage around for some brake cable clips. There were a few in a drawer crammed full of all sorts of other bits of stamped metal meant to secure cables and housing to metal tubes. Not too many brake cable clips though. I found three which looked complete, but didn't examine them closely.

me: How much for them?
co-op guy: I don't know [scratches head]
me: How about a buck each?
co-op guy: Sounds good to me
me: hands him a five ("Keep the change - you guys do a great service")

When I got home, I fished them out of my back pocket. Two are unmarked, and look like they might be for oversized tubing. One, however, is Campy:

So, a small score as well.

A headset cup removal tool. I've gone to the LBS for this task for the last time. Now I just need to find a reasonably-priced headset cup press and I'll be all set. Does anyone have one they don't need?

@trainman999 That is a gorgeous paramount frameset you have there.

Phil Tenacious Oil that worked wonders with my very noisy Regina freewheel.

Not really in the mail, but one of my mom's friends just got back from Ireland and she hand-delivered a set of 100% Irish wool socks.

I like socks!

A Viscount crank set. The seller had thrown in a few freebees for good measure. The Dura-Ace brake shoes are quite welcome, but I love the pro-Compe freewheels. I can listen to those all night.

A Polar OH1 heart rate monitor.

Went out for 10 miles today. Polar Beat is ecstatic with my training, give than I'm a 73 year old Clyde (not because I'm tall or have big bones). I rode 10 miles because my knee hurt. My goal was 20, which I'll do, I hope, on Thursday.
