Just a nice ride.

Had a great time all by myself after being off the bike for a month. Nothing gives you a reality check like impaired health.
Good to be back and now I have some ground to make up.
Be safe all, Frank.

I had a very low mileage August and 100% concur that there's nothing better than "Back on the Bike".
15, then 25, then 40 miles on 3 consecutive days showed me that fitness is lost rather quickly as I age.
Ride On!

What's wrong with you? Where are your Strava segments? Where are your PBs? Blasphemy.

Nice shot!! Most of my rides are like that. I ride alone for that reason, I can just do random rides. I had to be off my bike in 2018 for about 10 weeks while my facial bones and left hand bone grew back together after a nasty crash on my bike. By the time I was OK to ride we were in the middle of a heat wave here in So Cal. , 102 in the shade! I still got on my bike and it was like technicolor! I really didn't mind the heat as much as I would've normally.
