Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I think censor hating and censor-baiting are unofficial BF sports.

I know there are more important things in the world than the censor, but for whatever reason the stupidity quotient of the censor touches a raw nerve.

Dishonored2 is great but I gave up on Deus Ex: Mankind Divided. The interface and all was clunky and cumbersome like they were trying to do too much with it. Maybe I'll try it again this Winter.

Hmm, that's unfortunate about DX:MD. I really liked DX:HR, played through a few times using different play styles. Ditto with the original Dishonored - had to see all of the different endings, plus it was a fun challenge to go through pacifist, ghost levels, etc.

NOTE: Also, to the poster, you should only take one of those blue pills at a time, not two.
I wondered if anyone would catch that.

To be fair I have to agree the quirky performance of the filter needs correcting. The h o m o thing is just ridiculous.

About the only thing I understood on this page is it sucks that it's monday.

I did ride today and it was awesome. It is getting cold down here. Jacket weather is looming.

I asked Siri if it was a bank holiday and she didn't really answer, so I didn't go to the bank.

I did not ride today and came up with many excuses not to, including a car wash and my statute book is too heavy. That has to stop.

74° at midnight. I could smell a couple of fireplaces in use on my way home. Phoenicians are so ridiculous sometimes.

Serious power problem in our NJ building. Backup generators did not come on. Must be running on batteries. We are shutting down lights and stuff to save power for the dispatch center.

Will check in later.

I saw T-Mar use dashes between letters, in order to be able to type out the name of a famous Japanese bicycle manufacturer whose name contains a slang word for "excrement" that is also used sometimes to express surprise or disappointment.

In parts of the South where Macon is pronounced Maykin and so on, I wouldn't be surprised if that were pronounced shy-take. Like you know, "I'll take a pound of them shy-take mushrooms." The censor would be out of a job.

That's the company. The Japanese really should be more culturally-aware, when it comes to the spelling of their company name in English. Some of us are rather sensitive to such things.

My broken-body wife treated me to a short 20 mile ride on the family truckster. She was in pain at the end but suffered through it for me.

And, yes, we had light jackets on.
