Hello. Expect me in C&V
Just to be clear, this is not at all a post designed to chip away at the 10 post minimum before I can be a real person (who can PM people and post pictures). Not. At. All.
So far as introductions go, the best way to imagine me is as a grad student with an apartment full of mostly vintage bikes. I tend to ride 10-15 hours a week, mostly road. Sometimes I get peer pressured into gravel, such is life in Oklahoma.
My main bike is a Huissoon Sport (Dutch, made from SLX) built up with mostly 2015 Chorus, but Super Record shifters and 2012 Chorus cranks. Because I can't deal with 4-arm. I also have more period-correct bikes. A Moser w/ 10-speed Record. A Univega Super Strada with a mix of 600 and DA AX. A Franklin with 7400. And so on. And so on. What's come to be my number 2 bike is a Gan Well Pro track bike, which is not a faithful NJS build apart from the drivetrain. Compact drops (still 26mm, for I am a quill stem devotee) make it much more viable for road rides, which is what I do on it.
That's probably enough information to have a feel for what I'm about.
