Does it have the little clip that converts it from 7s to 6s?

mountaindave - I have inspected the bags and even opened the one that held the shifters to see if the shim is visible in with the actual shifters which are still stuck together as they came from the factory. I didn't want to take them apart as I figured that was for the new owner. I didn't see the shim visible in the bag and I can't see it in with the downtube parts set.
I looked online for a photo of an opened set showing how the shim was packaged but couldn't find one. I know the shim you are speaking of as I have a spare copy of the instructions and it's in there.
I have added other photos of the set if that helps. Perhaps someone who has this set can advise if the shim is packaged in with the shifters?
I have the 8 speed version as well but per the instructions for that set it doesn't appear to have that shim or I'd just ad that to this set.

Thanks for looking. That instruction sheet is very valuable! Mind if I post it over in the SL-BS50 thread?
