New guy from Oregon

Hello! Happy to join to forum, currently located in western Oregon. Spent many years riding in New Jersey, Virginia and Montana, we've been in Oregon for a few years now.

Commute 18 miles daily on a 650b Salsa Journeyman, the wife ride a Trek FX2 Disc.

Hope to learn a bit, I've been working on bikes my whole life but have recently taken the plunge on some decent specialty tools and will be doing quite a bit more.

Thanks!

Commuting started out with “man I’m sore”, now it’s pushing till the cardio side kicks in. Really enjoying it

Welcome. 18 daily miles of commuting will make you sore. Keep it up a while and you’ll be looking for ways to add to the distance, especially in nice weather.

Thanks guys! There's a solid group of commuters we see nearly every morning. Everyone heads west, while we go east. One lady on a beautiful Co Motion that passes us going the same direction every now and then. The Co Motion shop is down the road from my house.
