Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Anyone have any experience with Canari sizing?

Looking at their size charts, it seems that they may run large compared to say Bontrager or Primal?

I am eyeing this as a cheap long sleeve jersey.

Yes they are definitely "American" sizing, even in their race fit categories. Definitely not euro or asian sizing.

I just bought as I normally would here in the states and it worked out fine. Long-sleeve jersey, blue, XL--not sure what the name of it was. I'm 6' 1" and 185 lbs.

I'm a standard medium in most of the clothes that I buy, but when I buy bicycle clothes I always but large because cycle clothing sizing assumes that I have the body of a pro cyclist. I don't. I have just a fairly normal body size for a standard medium in ordinary clothes.

I have found Canari garments to run true to "American" sizing. 6'0" and 175 pounds and large fits me well.

Hincapie 3X jersey on the left. Canaries 2X jersey on the right. I have a 3X BlackBottom brand jersey that is a bit tighter than the Hincapie as well. There is about 5 pounds difference between these pics.

For comparison. Giro Stow 2X jacket I just bought...

I'm 6'1" 245ish and 56 years old...
