Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Issue with CS200cad (cadence)

Hi,

I purchased a CS200cad last summer. I have a lot of problem to have the cadence sensor working. Finally, after about 4 hours.. I made it worked... However, I removed it during the winter since I have installed my bike on a I-magic. Now, same problem.. can not make the cadence sensor work....

Anybody can give me tips?

Thanks

Are you sure you have cadence turned on for the bike you've set up? That's the simplest...

Also, check the position of your magnet. It might be too far from the sensor.

you have to have the tiny little magnet very very very close to the sensor. I lost the magnet and bought a proprietry one from the LBS that was larger and allowed more leniancy

You have to get the sensor like 3mm from the crank,
