giro aeon
Anybody know what these tend to go for off season? I'm looking to pick one up soon and I see that ebay prices are hovering between 160-180. I know competitive cyclist does a deal on the ionos every now and then. Just thought I'd see if anybody knows.

I don't see the price dropping that much. There are lots of Ionos to get rid of.
I just brought the Aeon and love it. It's the first time I ever noticed a really big difference ina helmet - it's light, has great adjustments to get a comfortable fit, and is cool with the venting.
I think $180 is a good price for new. The ones I saw for less is for very small sizes, has high shipping costs, or an individual wore it and didn't like it.

I just picked one up off the bay for $205 shipped. Just 2 months ago, the lowest shipped was $225-230. They will slowly come down, and if they release a new model in the next year, will drop 30-40 likely.
But, finding one of those $180....good luck. I tried for a week with the bidding, then the high shipping cost, the thing ended up costing the same or more than a buy it now. And the selection of sizes/colors isn't good at that price for the auction.
I just said screw it and paid the $205 shipped. Now, after just 1 ride...wow, what a great helmet. I used a Bell helmet that was probably 310gms..you can definitely tell the difference in weight savings, the venting/cooling, the comfort of the straps and ease of adjustment of the helmet overall are fantastic.

I paid $185 from an on-line source I found but they no longer show that price. In fact, it's full list now. Performance had them on sale for $219 with free shipping a couple weeks ago.
