A few images of the pre-departure trials. It is still a work in progress...

Abu, your photos are good but they are a bit big. Any chance of scaling them down by, say, 50%? They take a while to scroll through, especially on a tablet or phone?

It wasn't my intention to upset you, so apologies if I did, just trying to be helpful.

The Topeak seatpost/saddle bag has a limit of 5kg while the Tern Luggage Trus in the front has a limit of 7kg. Factor in the weight and weight capacity of the Tern Kanga rack, i can carry 6.5kg in the front. So limit-wise, 5kg rear, 6.5kg front.
Now, i am not carrying nearly as much as that. On the pics I was carrying about 2.5kg per bag. The bags were filled with dirty laundry for testing purposes only. I am actually contemplating ditching/leaving behind the seatpost/saddle bag. I'll be adding a triangle bag containing tubes, tools & first aid stuff, and mounting a bottle cage on each side of the head-tube. Money, credit card, battery power bank, mirrorless camera (Canon M3) and passport will go in a hip-belt bag or shorts pockets on my person.
The rear hub is a SRAM DualDrive II mated to a 11-36T cogset via a Shimano Zee RD. 19 gear-inches on the low end, 113 gear-inches on the top end.

Have a safe trip! Do you have an itinerary for this?
I am trying to post sample itineraries on my travel website. You can also create a website with the hPage website builder, by the way.
