Please help appraise my 85 Trek 720

I have been talking with a potential buyer and not feeling super confident about knowing the value. What do you think it's worth? Aside from these pics, I have some in this album and more over here. Thanks!

This is a good looking bike. I've had 4 720s pass through my shop. $500-$600 given the condition, parts, and location.

Duopar Titanium RD, rear rack, and front pannier mounts all missing. It's a nice clean bike though. I'd stick to $650-$675. Paint looks very nice.

Had an 82 720 pop up on CL yesterday for $300. Was only listed as a vintage Trek. Looked clean and original but in need of overhauling. My size so I contemplated overnight. It is gone this morning. Reminded me there are people out there who know and want these bikes.

Fine looking Trek. Agree with $600 asking price, especially if in ready to ride condition. May take a while to sell but there will be a buyer out there. We have some goofy guy down here in SoCal asking $2000 for his 720.
Btw I am getting ready to post my 1985 Trek for sale. Same color as your Trek. Believe color is called 'Beaujolais'. Model is a 500. Tubing is Reynolds 501. If a 720 it would stay in my collection.
Good luck.

You sure he isn't on this site?

There are a couple on here that are in that location that come up with some wacky pricing.

I would be more aggressive with this bike and max the price at $700. It's a beauty. Very desirable year/model in super clean condition.

Dark rims and that paint = winning combo.

You'd have to have a pretty badass stable to let this one go for under $650.
