What a beautiful day it was today, and what a gift to have it so late in the year.
I visited my mother in Westbury, paid a visit to a favourite hat store in Washington Heights, and then came home to Woodhaven, for a total of 70 miles.

The weather held out and I did 40 miles on the South & North County Trailway. You can see in Elmsford where the connector starts and Warehouse Ln where it comes out. Hope they finish it soon.

Rode back up that way again today because I wanted to check it out. Looks good, and of cause it was nice and smooth new black top. Every one I passed had a comment of how nice it was it was open!
It was a great day out for Nov 3rd and the Path was getting plenty of use. Everyone was in a good mood and being very chatty. I even rode along shooting the breeze for about 5 miles with one older gent who told me he was 79.

Was a great 3 day weekend got 2 rides in. For one I decided to ride out to Queens to Flushing Meadows. Interesting 40 miles round trip through the city. Went out over the RFK Bridge and came back over the 59th St Bridge. This is what I went to see, haven't been here since I was a little kid.
