Help with Peugeot id

Hey all.

We are helping a neighbour clean up this bike so he can sell it. Thought it would be relatively easy to identify model and worth, but quickly realized it can be quite tricky!

So far, here is what we know:

- He bought it in the mid 90's. (He thought 1995) We assumed new, but we may be wrong.

- Seat tube has a Tubing 103 Made in Canada decal.

- Side of seat tube has a "Record du Monde" decal.

- # 3902238 stamped into frame where rear wheel mounts, on left side.

- The lights on the front and rear fenders are hooked up to a tiny generator on the rear wheel.

- 3x6 gears

- Front Simplex derailleur stamped with "Simplex".

- Rear Simplex derailleur with a Peugeot logo.

- Sugino crank

- PA 60 is on the Chain stay tube.

So it would seem to be a Canadian made PA 60, but I can't seem to find any info about this particular model from the 90's.

Any input would be appreciated!

*I'll add a pic when I'm able...Site not allowing me just yet

Pic Assist. Bike is from the 70's, maybe the 80's, but not the 90's.

The closest I've found from the 80's is the PA 60 Nomade, which I matched to a Canadian brochure from 1983.

I still would have no idea what this would be worth. I forgot to mention that my neighbour said he paid 600 for it years ago. He said 1995, but I'm thinking 1985.

In my area, with fresh grease on all the bearings, and refreshed with new cables and tires, it's worth around $200-250.

Based on component's and paint color I can say it is a Canadian bike made between 79-82 earlier would likely not have shifter braze on's and later would have bottle cage mounts. Have not seen this model before but it looks like a AE-9./Sprint same as the Nomade PA pictured above.. Pug stuff can get tricky since they made about 50 similar different models to this bike during the 70;s early 80's.

The frame was made in Canada by Groupe Procycle. Based on the serial number format and location, the first digit indicates the year of frame manufacture, 3=1983.
