He'll probably want to move here now. We already have too many Slovakian world champion mountains bikers turned world champion professional road bikers moving to California as it is.

They will be higher for him in CA than in any of Europe (open to corrections).
Certainly higher than in Slovakia.
Unlike most of Europe, we (CA) have a progressive system that at his ~$4M+ annual comp - he will pay a whole bunch more esp when factoring in what he won't get because he is over the threshold for "need" (kid's college being a example). Then things like a traffic ticket are likely multiple times more with the exception of a few Scandinavian countries.
But the beaches are much better here.
Peter comes about every year I can remember and does local group rides. While others are are out sprinting him, he is usually hanging back talking to the ladies (err - before he was married he was) and just chilling.
Does he mind? I don't know.
