You don't see Pedersons very often:

https://www.facebook.com/marketplace...12148882264654

Pederson, resto-mod $1800

Very rare, patented in 1897, serial numbered CC1406, will take offers, all top end Shimano gear, speedo, side pull Shimano calipers. I love this bike but don’t ride any longer. Recently serviced. Great riding bike in a soft sling seat. Google it, There is a lot of great info about it.

The 105 drivetrain replacement is a shame but that's still a reeeally good frame.

Anyone able to identify this model? Regardless it's probably worth $75 (I think that script M headbadge makes it a "real" mongoose)

Trek 400 1988(?)

Small Trek 400 (seller says 18"). I think it's 1988, but I'm not sure. Lots of parts have been swapped out.

Trek 400 Road Bike - $300 (Cincinnati)

"Classic Trek 400 road bike; asking $300. Clipless pedals, aero bars, white Bontrager saddle, Cateye computer (needs new battery).

Recently tuned up at REI for $150, new rear tire.

Has been on the trainer in the basement, stored inside for ages. Just have too many bikes and one needs a new home.

My loss, your gain."

Vintage racing 10 speed bike made in Italy. Lots of original Campagnolo parts on the bike and it’s very light weight and fast aluminum frame."

(Still no hint as to what it is, but it's increased five-fold in price since you posted! Still aluminum, though?)

I am not sure on the market, but is this not overpriced? A Pedersen sat on a local CL for almost a year at $300. What's the desire or prestige of these bikes?

Obviously very specific niche, but they are rare and very special, been around for over 120 years, new ones are $2200-3150.

They seem to still be going strong.

Apparently little to no love in AZ, no surprise to me.

Pretend you had not seen the CL one before or this one.

There are 2 on efbay, $1k in Thailand that shipping would be huge so...

Another in Denver that is very tall for $2100.

They likely will not sell at those prices but you never know.

Odd to be sure but they have a strong following and a lot of history no matter how you slice it.

This also belongs in the wacky craigslist thread. But it's too good of a deal for the frame and components not to post it here.

If I could get someone to facilitate that frameset and ship it to me in Ontario, Canada I'd grab it. I've wanted one of those in that size for decades.

Raleigh tourer

This seems to be in good shape and reasonably priced, if you happen to be in Vermont or nearby:

https://vermont.craigslist.org/bik/d...141672758.html

It's my size but I'm looking to get rid of three or four bikes, not add another one.

Klein Performance, this was actually made as a "fast touring" bike despite the Dura-Ace group and double crank (did anyone at Klein know what a touring bike was?)
