FS: Shimano 600 Group (Minus RD)
Selling most of a Shimano 600 group in very good condition. Somehow the RD found a new home, but replacements are easy to find!
Asking $115 shipped for the following:
- 170mm Crankset w/ 52/39 rings. Overall excellent, rings have minimal wear, only flaw of note is some scuffing near the crank bolts on the DS (apologies for the watermarks in the picture, forgot to run alcohol over them after I cleaned them up and it really shows in some of the pics!) Can include a very nice 6400 Italian BB as well if needed
- 2x7 DT Shifters - Excellent
- FD-6401 braze on in excellent shape
- Dual Pivot 6403 brake calipers, also excellent with plenty of pad life left
- SL-6403 aero levers with a few very minor scuffs, VGC hoods
More pics HERE

I'll be checking my parts bins to see if I have a need for the components you're offering. In general, I don't have much 600, having mostly Suntour, Dura Ace, Mavic and Campy. Some Sachs too, which is nice because they stopped making components (Mavic stopped making components too, for that matter, except they make wheels now. Although now that they've been acquired by a new company in bankruptcy, who knows what's in store for Mavic? They make nice wheels but their hubs are their achilles heels, which is kind of sad because they used to make fine, cartridge bearing hubs while Campy was still making Jurassic cup and cone hubs). Would probably put the 600 parts on a "lesser" vintage bike, not Italian, although it appears that these parts were once on an Italian frame because you're also offering an Italian threaded BB. For example, these parts would go well on an Ironman. I'll let you know if i decide to buy.

I agree with the above. He is awesome and probably was swamped. I have bought several items from him and they were always fast and well packed! I even bought something off eBay from him long before membership here!
