Good lookin vintage-y silver seatpost?

I am building up a vintage styled black and silver colored commuter and trying to find a middle of the road, good lookin seatpost.

Anyone know of a nice looking silver seatpost around 40-50 bucks? I know there's thomson and ritchey classic for 70+ and Kalloy and other cheapies for 25 and under. I've also looked at the Velo Orange seatpost but I don't really want so much setback. Miche makes a weird lookin seatpost I like, but that's even more money. Where are the decent middle of the road priced seatposts?

What diameter post do you require?

Check out the Soma fabrications setback seatpost, less setback than VO, but in all sizes. they also have a zero setback post. both in silver, ~$35

So much better selection if the bike you have needs a 27.2mm seatpost.

Civia makes a 27.2 zero offset for $30.

(27.2 and true vintage is unlikely.) You need to know the required diameter; that limits your choices.

My last purchase was 25.8mm ITM, not a lot of options in that size.

How about the Origin8 Classique? https://www.origin-8.com/?page_id=91&...cl1=SEAT+POSTS

I actually just ordered the Velo orange myself, but the origin8 was my second choice. I'm leaning towards a black/silver theme myself. I've seen the Civia, and while it photographs well, it seemed a little cheap looking finish-wise in person.

If you need a 27.2mm part and have at least a fist full of seat post exposed but not one of those new fangled sloping-top-tube bikes get yourself a mid-1990s 220mm Campagnolo Chorus post using the C-Record aero forging.

The C-Record aero post is the sexiest vintage post made and the Chorus part is the same except no Campy shields etched in the sides mean it's not "Record" and therefore less valuable as a collectable.

Have you looked at the Nitto Frog and Jaguar? But they may be over your budget so try Velo Orange https://www.amazon.com/Orange-Setback...m_cr_pr_sims_i

I actually like the non-aero version more:

I think it would be tough to find a Chorus aero post for $50...they usually seem to go closer to $100 when I'm watching.
