Brake Lever for Track Bike

Hello,

I recently bought a 2005 Fuji Track Pro for $350 at a bike swap. While I do use it on the track, I live 75 miles from the closest track and therefore only make the trip once every few weeks. Now I take the Fuji out about once a week on a long road ride up through the country. In order to not crash and ruin my beautiful bike, I attached a front brake. However, the large track handlebars made it difficult to put a lever on, so I had to attach this to the drops. This is unsightly and a little impractical. Is there a brake lever built for wide track handlebars?

Thanks in advance for any help

My favorite brake lever for use with track drops are bar end levers.

Makes a lot of sense to put the lever where your hands should be.

I was thinking of a brake more along the lines of this. I just need something that fits over the large diameter bars.

31.8 isn't so large........it's the new standard in some camps.

These work well. I have them on two bikes.
