Just a new pair of cone spanners, my existing pair are getting worn with frequent use. Got a deal on e-bay, £0.99 plus postage - no one else bid

Nothing today, but a parcel notice.
No parcel expected, but a couple-three months ago I ordered a SSM Concor Lite, custom covered in Cinelli branding, from the Ukraine.
Problem is, their mail goes through Russia, so it dropped into oblivion while the conflict goes on. I was refunded, but if this the saddle, I'll be happy.

205g and with a choice of nose piece colors.

27" wheels were never popular in this part of the world, and nice tires for them are hard to find. Found a pair of these in the UK, and they arrived today:

I do plan to change the stem at some point...and also the saddle...but...first...get the front brake cable replaced, chain replaced, hbar tape replaced...and get it out on the road!
It is amazing how badly a stem like that stands out, isn't it?!!!

@crank_addict: ^Nice. Are those the dia-compe knob grips? Velo-Orange used to sell replacement covers/hoods, but they've been out of stock.

Yes. Vintage stoker dummy brake grips. Could have done it many different ways or make them, but couldn't break tradition for the old sled. Supposedly, these are NOS but I doubt it. Good enough for me. Should look retro cool on the rando bars + vintage Spenco grips. Recall them... lol?

Christmas in September the past few days.
I actually bought eight sets of Kool Stop pads. I figure I will put them on everything I have now, and have a few left over for future projects. The Conti bike (a Conti Special, according to the decal on the left side chainstay) was a local CL find. Not much higher level than gas pipe, but practically new. It might go up to Michigan permanently. I'm a Look KeO nerd, and always seem to be short a set. Finally, I've had good luck with a Brooks Pro, and an ISCASelle Record leather seat (until it got drenched ), so when the VO saddle turned up I thought I would give it a try and see how my tush likes it.

Assorted random parts from a friend of mine, and a crank puller. Now I can fix the axle I put on backwards.

My son and daughter-in-law found this somewhere in the U.P. The brakes sort of work. The pedals and wheels spin. Maybe I should buy a mouse and train it to ride the bike.

See, what you want is a rodent with longer legs, like a gerbil. I did this and asked him afterward how was the bike, and he said, "twitchy".
