The recall only applies to racks that came preinstalled on certain models. All of the sold separately racks use different hardware.

More or less the whole thing. The contrast, small size, and "zoomed out" nature of the photos makes it hard to appreciate the bike fully.

So we started the build on my front rack/basket and porteur style chainguard. We could not finnish due to some missing spacers (and it was too late to go to a store) but I thought I would show you guys some of the photos of where we got. My cranks make it very difficult to have a full chainguard because they dont come off of the bike at a 90 degree angle. They spread out, forcing me to have to make the whole larger in the center. You'll see in the photo. Enjoy.

Thanks! The chainguard is aluminum. Band-saw, circular saw, etc. I'm excited to finish it sometime soon.

is it flat, or does it wrap around the circumference of the chain? I can't exactly tell from that photo.

in the picture it is flat, but I have another piece that mimics the outside and then it will be attached with a piece that wraps around the circumfrence. I just haven't welded it yet. Its going to be a "full encased chainguard" for the front aspect of the chain.
