My 1985 Cannondale ST 400 is one of the finest long distance machines I have ever owned. I like the 3 water bottle cages. The bike is responsive and reasonably lightweight. And it handles superbly with 700 x 32c tires (I switched out the 27 inch wheels to 700c). I really, really don't need another bike. But if I could find a 23 inch Cannondale ST 1000, I'd buy it.
