Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

That is my highest ever watts per hour. 279 watts per hour average. At one point they were 1:50 in front of me. I managed to bring them back to 20 seconds at one point .
so thats what I just can't understand. How can I get dropped when I'm pushing more than double the wattage of the weekest guy on the ride?
Zwift is primarily based on Watts per kilogram, so if one is light, it takes less watts to make the same Watts per kg (wpk). Make sure your height and weight is correct on the Zwift website under profile https://www.zwift.com/settings/profile

Also make sure you're using the best bike available to you in game. No mountain bike, no heavy bikes. https://zwiftinsider.com/fastest-bikes-at-each-level/

Then if there's more than a couple other riders, try hard to stay in the draft. As soon as you hit the front or fall a few meters behind, you loose the draft effect and have to work harder.

Probably geometry-driven due to her size. She's only 5' tall.

The builder is at a point where he needs a decision on cable routing. He's recommending SRAM eTap AXS, which allows for 1x or 2x.

His shop is amazing. He has a different machine for each tube type. One is a lathe from the 50s that was originally used by the Department of the Navy. He also has a large CNC mill so he now makes his own dropouts.

Will this bike have 700c wheels? Might have shaped the seat tube to bring the rear wheel in a little, shorten the stays. A friend who is 4'10" had a custom built with 650 wheels. Said she wishes she had gone with 700 despite geometry challenges.

Probably. Her IF has 700c. The builder was/is an IF dealer and came up with the geometry for that frame way BITD, but he was limited by what IF would build.

I read last night that he was running late to a golf outing with Drew Brees and another NFL quarterback. It appears pretty obvious that he was going too fast. The news reports say no indication of impairment. It happened about 7 in the morning.

Ahh, doing the MTB style bend.

KHS used to do the s-curve seattubes, but that limited seatpost insertion a bit.

He was known for his MTBs. Two-time best in show at NAHBS back in the 2000s. He stopped going once he and his wife had a kid.
