Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I mean, how many options does a pilot have? Faster/slower, up/down. left/right. You can't even go in reverse.

You have a way of cutting right to the essential question, you do! Maybe things are so critical up in the air that there has to be, like, 8x redundancy on dials and gauges and switches and whatnot.

You might be surprised to learn that I have never flown a plane.

I've never had a problem with switches and gauges. Its the whatnots that have been troublesome.

He was held in a POW camp known as Stalag 17. That story of that camp became a Broadway play and a movie. My friend was something of an artist and maintained a scrapbook of sketches of camp life that I found very interesting. At that time, WW II was not far in the past.

Many people have lived much more interesting lives than I ever will.

I'm sure hoping that, in relation to this man's specifically, mine will be quite boring.

Well, I juiced an apple with chocolate whey protein after my ride today.

I was too lazy to cut up anything other than the apple and I'm out of vanilla but seriously, it didn't taste as bad as I though it would.

Thats as close to juicing as I get because I figure juicing wrecks the plant material. I may be wrong but I'd rather eat my veggies and fruits as close to raw and the least processed as possible.

We all know that eating lots of fruits and vegetables is a good thing to do, what I've always wondered is should one take preference over the other?

I tend to eat more fruit than I do vegetables. Should that be the opposite?

Like, typically at work I will bring fruit to snack on, and then have some veggies in my lunch, I'd say the ratio I eat is 70/30 fruits/veggies.

Just spent the last two hours walking around the charlotte airport taking deep breaths. There’s more people here with mask on than I expected.

What's your ballpark estimate on percentage of people at airport wearing masks? 10%??

Really, the masks make sense for SICK people to prevent spread, but probably do little to protect a worried-well wearer.

Less than 10 percent. Prolly about 2 people in each terminal.
