It's a covered four-wheel e-bike!

37 mile range @ 15mph? That is wholly unremarkable.

Great idea. Some version---not necessarily the version linked to---is bound to happen sooner or later and by rights should establish itself as a plausible non-gasoline-powered vehicle for use in commuting, shopping, etc.

Doing stoppies indicates it's too short for its height. I suspect in good weather/traction it is subject to tipping on corners because it's too narrow (for its height.) Way too much suspension for road use. It's as heavy as TWO rotovelos. Put it on a diet and it wouldn't need the electric, although some people would still get it as an option.

The fabric body is interesting, though. Right now what makes velomobiles so expensive is the labor-intensive carbon or fiberglass shells.

Per their latest update, they still haven't even produced a prototype of a production model, in four years. I don't see much of a future for this, even though it's needed to wean people off of gasoline for short shopping trips and commutes. And for safety, it needs to be lower, longer, and wider. Some fool would certainly let this thing loose down a steep hill and it would crash. Or a crosswind would knock it over.

As someone once said, cute don't cut it.

I'm all for it. After cars fume about passing around a slow moving eClown car how can they be as unhappy about passing a bike?

They raised almost $108k, $64k in 2016 and still aren't delivering product. Run away, run away.

Why is it a bicycle?
I checked every photo and saw no pedals.

Looks more like an underpowered Tesla than a bicycle.

4 wheels make it a quadcycle, if it pedals. Otherwise it is a car (of sorts) even Henry Ford would laugh at.

Government gives cyclists a few bike lanes and now 4 wheeled electric vehicles are entitled to use them? .
