Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Same here. Doesn't matter if I clear cache, or use a VPN.

Thinking of the gentle giant on this National Rainbow Bridge Remembrance Day.

It’s also National Red Wine Day.

I don't have a flat repair kit. I do buy garbage bags, sandwich bags and tea bags. I have an under seat bag if that was the answer you were looking for.

I think they might be trying to beat ad-blockers and that's triggering alerts on some security software.

My adblocker used to make ads invisible but now it just makes them grey boxes that say advertisement.

Speaking of California, we are coming to LA in early October for a week. I am hoping to bring my bike. This time we are staying in Santa Monica.

All I want to do is have some fun until the sun comes up over Santa Monica Boulevard.

Are you having a beer buzz early in the morning before your ride?

Good line, but I will save that action for Cheryl. Cycling is my drug of choice.

Bag fun fact.

In Kingston, ON, grocery stores (Walmart at least) they don't provide you with free bags at checkout.

Mine looks like this. They don't play anyone nearby.

Our Wegmans no longer provides free bags. I keep forgetting to bring our reusable cloth bags so I end up putting all the groceries directly into the trunk of the Saturn.

We didn't get free bags anywhere, for awhile. They were outlawed. But now they're back, but not everywhere
