I've read Eric Hoffer's book and will likely read it again soon.

I only read the first 10pg or so when my son had borrowed it from a friend, but then he returned it. I should just get myself a copy.

Online game developed by Cambridge psychologists teaches players to sniff out 'fake news' by encouraging them to use tactics like trolling to sabotage elections and undermine democracy

Fascinating! I might give that game a try. Although 16% perceiving misinformation as less reliable and 11% less likely to share are not overwhelming numbers, it does make sense that an inside look at fake news would make people more able to spot it in the wild

I 'played' a couple chapters, but was not that impressed. It's cute, but like a choose-your-own-adventure that is really pretty single-threaded. Felt a little patronizing actually.
