SuperSix Front Wheel Won't Go On

SuperSix Front Wheel Won't Go On
Hi,
Putting together a new 2020 Cannondale SuperSix EVO Carbon Ultegra.
The caliper is open but when the brake rotor is aligned with and slightly in the open caliper the hub axle head hits the fork dropouts so it doesn’t go in. The spokes are also against the brake.
I would have to bend the fork or the bend the brake rotor to force the wheel in. That’s the problem. The wheels on my other two bikes disc brake drop right in. This one hits the fork dropouts when the brake rotor is slightly in.
Anyone else had this problem and figured it out?
New to site, so couldn't post pix.

Maybe the caliper never got aligned properly? Loosen the two bolts that hold it, get the wheel in, hold the brake lever to align the caliper and then retighten.

Putting the bike together? Has the bike not been fully assembled before?
