Well I've finally joined the cult. Ironman content.

Well I have finally drank the Ironman kool-aid and bought an '87 in "Miami Vice" colors. I'm really digging the colors on this bike. I have never seen the MV version in person but the colors really pop in person. I haven't had to chance to ride this beauty yet but I can't wait and when I do I'll report back. I got this immaculate example from fellow forumite brockd15 and he went above and beyond the call to help me get this bike. Thanks man you're a stand up guy and I'd like to thank you again.
Here she is in all her 80's goodness.

I'm looking for some wild 80's jerseys and sunglasses also, so pink wouldn't be a problem. If anyone has any crazy jerseys or some 80's shades like Brikos they don't want anymore let me know and we'll talk.

NICE Score. i couldn't find one in my area that fit me, so i ended up getting a Centurion Lemans, but I've parted out everything and will be building my modern interpretation of the Ironman soon.

on a side note, i posted the parts on CL and no response, so i decided to try Fleebay and what do you know, Just posted the wheels on this morning and they sold real quick this afternoon.

I also own a 1987 'Miami Vice'. You either love or hate the color combination. I have gotten quite a few positive comments about the bike. You will love your new bike.

Nice to see you scored a taller one! My "purple haze fade" Master is just a bit shorter than I'd like. I usually ride 63cm/25'' frames, but this is a 24'' one. Still love it, though.

I'm glad to hear it made it back safe and sound!
I thought it was a nice example, and since it was slightly bigger than what I prefer, I'm glad it was able to go to someone who can appreciate it.

Enjoy!
