Cyclocross and Gravelbiking (Recreational) This has to be the most physically intense sport ever invented. It's high speed bicycle racing on a short off road course or riding the off pavement rides on gravel like : "Unbound Gravel". We also have a dedicated Racing forum for the Cyclocross Hard Core Racers.

Victim, marketing is working on you like it was designed to do ..
you are putty in their hands.

put less slick tires on your bike and when the pavement ends, keep riding..

here the gravel is logging roads.. going up hills to haul out timber..

you are in farm country where they hate intelligence, and education.
back to another tedious brand touting shopping thread
for those who outsource decisions.. to a popularity contest..

My bike has seen quite a few mods, trying to perfect fit relative to physical issues and conditions I ride in. Mine is similar to One4smoke’s bike, with “inner bars”. Waiting on Ergon GP2, grips that are reported to work with a grip shifter, and bar tape to wrap the metal “inner” bars with.

Seems to me, fitting a bike to the individual and conditions they ride in, may wind up hybridizing just about any bike “type”.
