Worn already?

Is this worn down already after 150 Miles or did it come that way and I just didnt notice at first. Are they like that for easier shifting?

Mine looks the same, I believe it's that way to help pick up the chain when shifting.

You didn't wear it out, you didn't notice. It was made that way intentionally.

Thanks!

That's what I figured seemed impossible but I've read some stuff online about the FSA crankset wearing quickly.

I had the same reaction many years ago on my first bike with these machined tooth profiles.

Check your chainring again. You'll see the same pattern of tooth shapes repeated around the ring. The cassette is similar -- and some cassettes have a few teeth that are really cut down.

~~~
The black anodizing wears off the sides of the teeth quite quickly, so the chainring looks really worn. But that's normal.
See the photo in this thread after 5000 miles.
