Hi everybody and greetings from overseas (Germany).

Thanks for posting this beautiful bike. Very well described within your great photos.
Personally I couldn't imagine a more desirable bike and built in the same year I was built.

This is a beautiful bike. Are the shifters nouvo record? Is that a reynolds sticker on the frame? It looks like the main triangle is built of Reynolds? I have the magistroni crank on a olmo built in 1960 I purchased recently.

Here is the story:
I found a Rossin bike with Dura Ace 8-speed downshifters groupset cheap in the classifieds 45 Minutes away.
Called and reserved it for the next day.
Two adds below that bike was an offer for several bikes only text no picutres mentioning a 62 old Cinelli among others.
Mailed that I'll be near that place the next day... got no answer... but had a phone number.
After I picked up the Rossin (the seller had several offers for that bike) I called that number and arranged a meeting in an industrial area only 5 miles away.
The seller bought it new in '54 and swapped it some time later since the frame was too large for him.
Got it back two years ago in quite bad shapped and restored it carefully.
Very nice humble man 78 years of age and still biking.
Overall it was a lot of 7 bikes, the cinelli being the crown jewel.
Bought them at a flat rate and will sell the other 6 to get that cinelli
at a reasonable price in the end.

Outstanding looking bike, neat story on how you managed to get it into your stable, too. It looks like his restoration was pretty thorough, but still left the patina nicely original. Should provide you with some nice rides

I've always wanted a racing bike from the 50's and that would be the perfect one. I would do a 100% restoration, it would be worth the money.

I wouldn't change the bar and stem unless the length or width is incorrect for the OP.

The ones on there are definitely beautiful, but this is the kind of bike that merits one of those badged Cinelli stems.

I think the campa record hubs/super champion wheels are a little to young too.
I'm thinking of changing brakes/levers & wheels when I can get ahold of matching stuff.
The saddle/pillar combi is a little to young also but looks to cool
to replace it.
Will make some more pics when the light is right.

My late 50s Mod B came with a Titan stem and Maes bars. Quite the thing to do in England and Germany. The seller kept those bits. I thought about getting a replacement set but I went with Cinelli stem and bars instead.
