What to do with a dented-a** frame...

What to do with a dented-a** frame...
So a brief bit ago I bought a 2008 CAAD8 (to my best guess).
I didn't pay much for it - got it from a friend who was ditching the sport, but the frame is dented. Now when I say dented, I mean DENTED. In the way that I started reading the frame flames inspired by single dents fractions of the size of the numerable dents in this frame. Top tube, seat tube, down tube, and NDS chain stay
.
On the other hand, the components make it worth it and I just ebayed a new frame that actually fits too.
The fork off the CAAD is still in good shape... Lord only knows how.
I have no idea what happened to this poor bike. By the paint around the dents, it looks like someone took a rubber hammer to it. w/e. I'm over it by now.
But this leaves me with a frame and nothing to do with it. I figure I'll keep the fork in fear of crits or sell it separately. But does anyone have any thoughts on something creative to do with an old CAAD frame? Or what are the chances anyone on ebay will want a dented-as-b**** 58cm frame?

I would take a dremel tool and just cut out the bad spots. Since everyone talks about how failure prone dented aluminum is, it will be far stronger with the dents removed.

Hahaha! No? Sounds like there's a story behind that. We're both climbers as well and he's drifting more towards the rocks than the roads. I did my best to convince him to stay, but alas. One less college kid on a bike unfortunately. Neither of us are married.

Aluminum brings just over 50 cents per pound at the metal recycler. If you live close to one, that might just about compensate you for the fuel to take it there. However, bear in mind many states have instituted a licensing requirement to recycle non-ferrous metals, as a way to combat theft.

I drink lots of water. It just has about 1% of dissolved solids in it, the devil and other flavorings. Lot's of people feel as you do, but none of them have ever provided me any convincing evidence of a problem. You are welcome to try. Naturally I am not talking about sugar. That I understand.
By the way, should we expand this disgreement to high fructose corn syrup being worse than natural sucrose or not? I mean why confine ourselves to just one urban myth.

Eh, I'd ride it, and obviously keep an eye on dents turning into cracks.
I have the same model (also with a ding in it) and it's fantastic.

As long as it's not cracked anywhere, it is perfectly safe to ride.
But, if you ride it a lot, it will eventually crack near those dents. The nice thing about aluminum though is that the cracks develop slowly, so you will see it coming. It's not likely to suddenly fall apart mid ride. (I speak from experience having put a huge dent into the top tube of my old S-Works E5 frameset. I raced it for six more weeks before a crack formed.)
