2013 Wabi Classic or NJS Eimei Bike?

Hello everyone. I am new to here. I need some suggestions from you guys. I am looking for a new bike to upgrade from my crappy BigShot Bike.

Right now now I am choosing between this 2013 Wabi classic www.pinkbike.com/buysell/2546947/ and this NJS Eimei bike vancouver.craigslist.org/van/bik/d/vancouver-njs-eimei-track-bike-52cm/6884732456.html .

I am not sure which one has a better value and I am 178cm or 5’10”. Are those two bikes too small for me?

Thanks!

both too small

This calculator should help you figure out what size frame you need. I would guess somewhere in the 54-56 range.

You could make either bike fit, but for the wabi you may need to replace the stem and perhaps the seatpost in order to ride comfortably for a longer stretch. That Wabi is horrifically overpriced...should be priced around 700 cad.

Didn’t look at the njs link.

Whether either one is a good size for you depends on your measurements and proportions, so fit calc is always a good idea. Could also use your current bike as a comparison if you like the way it fits. As for those two bikes, they're very different. The Eimei is a very aggressive track bike made for going fast for short distances, and the Wabi is a fixed gear road bike. Also, the Eimei as it's set up in the ad is likely not going to be comfortable at all.

I'd say closer to $400 CAD. That thing is pretty beat up.

I picked up a one year old wabi classic for less than $600 CAD and it was in perfect shape with sub-15 wheels.

That's really good deal. Too bad it's rare to see any good fixed bike in Vancouver. Not many people riding them.
