Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

It's about an inch/hour here so far. Very light and fluffy.

Do you get your mail at the door? The mail carrier only comes to the steps here if he has a package that doesn't fit in the box.

Think about it.

We have a slot in the door. Mailboxes are not secure, here in the trolley car suburbs.

Early on in this mess I saw a video of a cat that photobombed a news broadcast from home. It may have been in England. The car walks along a high mantle behind the reporter, plops down and starts licking its butt.

The idea is to do your civic duty while it's (literally) light stuff.

That explains the crunchiness, don't it? Must be English toast - cold, dry, and crunchy.

We are having unseaonably warm weather here. Hard to believe it's so cold and nasty just on the other side of the gulf.

I lusted after Cannondale for awhile. I really like their gear. I have a set of rear panniers, two handlebar bags and a tubular tire underseat bag. Possibly more that I'm not thinking of.

Pre-stretch it on an old CLINCHER rim. When mounting it use bare feet and hold mounted part of rim with your TOES and pull with your hands to get last bit mounted.

Those are the tips I recall. Of course I have not mounted a tubular since 1988 or 1989.
