My 1987 Fuji America
Hey everyone,
I just picked up this Fuji America. I can't find much info on this bike other than an article comparing this bike with the Raleigh Portage and a Claud Butler and the 1987 Fuji catalogue. Could anyone give me more info on it, like quantity made or experiences of owning this year of America? Are these good frames like the prior America's?
I'm hoping to touch up the paint and have velocals make some decals but this is how it was when I acquired it. So far I have added the seat, racks and changed out the rotting tires with Swift Sand Canyons.

So this is the successor to the TSV and predecessor or top level to the Saratoga?

I think this is the top level to the Saratoga. The Saratoga didn't have the third bottle mount and the spoke holder on the chainstay.
