Yeah, I've contacted them pretty much via email where they stated that EMS has problems with shipping commercial packages now. And I just was wondering if Russia is the only countru suffering from shipping problems.

Got this email this morning
20~25 Days FedEx Logistics Instead of EMS Delivery is Available for Your Order Due to COVID-19
Dear Sir,
Your attention please. As a result of the ongoing pandemic worldwide, EMS shipping service has slowed down significantly and rejects non-essential business recently. Now we will work with FedEx logistic shipping to deliver your order within 3-4 weeks of global transportation. Shall you need to change it to urgent delivery with FedEx expressing services which typically would be nearly triple the price of EMS shipping, please email us to discuss more asap if you need to do the change.
Be in touch if you have any further questions.
Best regards,
A little bait and switch on the shipping. I guess I’m OK with it for one dollar. It would look better if they were upfront about it. I have the option to express the shipping, but it’s not that important that I can’t wait.

if I have to wait 2 more weeks, I will wait. Otherwise, the promotion of 1$ shipment would mean nothing...

Hey all,
I ordered some wheels back in March. Assembly was almost a month and I got a shipping notification on the 28th of April. It said that shipping would be handled by FedEx (to the US) and that it would take about two to three weeks. I got this message this morning:
This is a further information for you about the multimodal transport emergency lane of FedEx who is now well organizing your order delivery with Light Bicycle.
More precisely speaking, it takes about 3 to 4.5 weeks for the packages to arrive at your doorstep, with the shipping fee well controlled. We have been using this new shipping approach for a month successfully.
Transit Time explained:
Step 1 - Shipment collected from our factory in Xiamen, China (1~2 days).
Step 2 - Shipment transported from Xiamen to Shanghai port via domestic flights (1~2 days).
Step 3 - Cargo be loaded onto the vessels and customs clearance (2~3 days).
Step 4 - Shipping from Shanghai to Los Angeles port (2~2.5 weeks).
Step 5 - Customs clearance and delivery within the US to your address (5~7 days).
No action is required by the customer, all of the clearance events are handled for you.
Please note, the tracking system for this emergency route is not perfect due to the limited time of preparation. Unfortunately, information will not update until the package has cleared import customs and is logged onto the FedEx system in LA. This no-update period will last about a month.
Thank you for your understanding about the situation affected by the coronavirus undergoing worldwide. Your great patience is highly appreciated.
I don't know how shipment is effected if you are outside the US, but if you are having wheels built in China and shipped to the US, it'll be awhile.

I have an order in the queue for a set of Hunt Carbon 50 Aeros but I am considering canceling and maybe going with a set of AR46s. Any idea if those are stocked anywhere or if they are all custom builds? What has been the typical lead time? I am not slated to have my Hunts ship until the first or second week of June.

I'd still rather have the LB wheels though.

That's fair, I will be placing an order! Can you help with the difference between the DT SWISS 350 and 240s hubs?

The 350's are a slightly scaled down/less refined version of the 240's...performance wise, you won't notice a difference

Canceling the Hunts is a smart move...I had the Aero 50's, and they were awful. The LBs, on the other hand, are very good, and an incredible value.

Glad I found this thread and that I posted asking about wheels in this price range. I’ve got the wheels set up in my cart on my computer, I’ll pull the trigger when I get home. Plan on going no holes as well, unless somebody talks me out of it.

Are the LB pads the way to go, or what are people using with better success?

BTW: the AR46 is the 21mm internal rim right? I recommend going with 25mm DT Swiss TL tape. My friend got those rims and that tape worked well for him (with GP5ks)
