Willard Munger Trail (state closure status)
I was planning to head out next week and bicycle Willard Munger Trail for a few days staying in Willow river on my way to Wisc Northwoods Bicycle Tour Any comments on what's happening to W/M trail with the MN shutdown. Thanks

I do not know where the Northwoods tour begins. But I live in Westcentral WI, just a bit east of the MN border. Shoot a holler if you need some ideas, a place to stay etc. BTW - I got back into bike riding at around the time I took the Ride Across WI. I believe it is put on by the same Co. as is doing your tour.

Should not be a problem using the trail. I have 2 MN State trails nearby and both are open. Not sure how they could even close a trail?

Thanks for the reply's This yrs wisc northwoods starts in iron river I realize WI has lots and lots of wonderful riding done most segements, this yr would knock off extreme NW and that if things in MN dont look good WI can be a fall back. Just trying to knock out more states. On this trip I am hoping to add NE to my list and central/Northern MN (my MN riding so far is root river trail)
