Shimano Alfine 8 clicking.

Howdy. I have an Alfine 8 speed. It makes a clicking sound, fairly faint, once every revolution of the cranks. It occurs in the same place every time, even when I change gears.
I have also changed the chain, so the relationship between the front and rear sprockets is now different. The clicking still occurs in the same place of the crank revolution.
Is this sound from the bottom bracket or the Alfine hub?
Thanks

Got to be the bottom bracket/crank/pedals. Check to be certain that your shoelace aglet (tip) or a part of your shoe is not ticking against the crank. Could also be a pedal, easy to swap and see. Could be a chiainring bolt.

OK Thanks, that's what I thought, but then not knowing exactly how the alfine works, I thought I'd ask. Thanks.

Also, check that shoe is not hitting a cable. Check seatpost/saddle and headset. Also, QRs. And shoes--cleat/shoe interface and the bolts.
