Puzzled with tube valves
Hi there. A bit of newbie here, and puzzled with the valve used by my bike. It is a hybrid, Specialized CrossTrail 2018.
I already rode over 1,000 miles on this bike and never had a flat. Lucky, maybe, but decided to finally prepare for the unavoidable and buy myself some new tube. But having trouble matching what to buy.
Specialized website lists the tires as:
Trigger Sport Reflect, 60 TPI, wire bead, 700x38mm
INNER TUBES: Presta, 48mm valve
But, those valves don’t look like Presta to me (I still can’t post a picture here as I am a newbie). More like a metal threaded schrader. It has a center pin/check valve like any other schrader. I am confused. Guidance, please.

Looks like a Schrader, works like a Schrader, it's probably a Schrader and the description is just wrong.
Anyway, if you like Schraders and your rims are drilled for Schrader size valves, you can buy Schrader replacement tubes with no concerns.
Interesting though - do you have a photo on IMGUR or someplace that you could fake a link to? Like this:

If you bought the bike used the previous owner could have switched wheelsets. But then again I've never seen a metal Schrader valve with threads down it's entire valve stem.

Definitely a threaded Shrader
I've never paid much attention to stem length. those are fairly deep rims but pretty much any tube should be good.

I just bought a new inner tube for my 26" MTB-based commuter and it came with a threaded Shrader valve, same as vanderleicsilva in post #5.
It even had a lock nut like a presta valve.
When you think about it, a "traditional" Schrader valve is threaded at the top for the cap.
