It's just not bright enough for my liking and the battery life isn't the best. If it had a base that it could be removed from, that would help, but the whole light/base/rubber strap is all one unit.

I'm new to riding, but I've already put on 55 miles since last Saturday (3/28). Not sure if that's above or below average for a newb, but I'm satisfied so far! The weather has been hit and miss here, i.e. below freezing, thunderstorms, etc. so I missed a couple days this week. Thinking some low profile fenders will be my next purchase after I figure out what headlight to get.

Edit: Oh yeah, and I pulled the two spacers (5mm and 10mm) out from the stem and dropped the handlebars to the bottom, then put a 10mm red CF spacer on top. Not for weight reduction though, just another accent piece I got for a few bucks on ebay. Since I wanted to lower the bars anyway, I figured why not give it some color!
How can we really know if you have made these changes without photographic proof?

Ok, ok... I'll take some more pictures in the next couple of days. Didn't want to blow the thread up with multiples.

That's what this thread is for and especially when someone has acquired a new bike.

I really hope people don't hold back with their pictures, we needs the bike porn.

Can I make some specific requests?

I would like some shots showing what the top of the top tube looks like and from the rear what the seat stays look like as they join up to the seat.

Also shots of the crank from a variety of angles, as well as shots of your gear change indicators and brake levers etc.
I finally found some time to do a photo shoot with the bike. Here are the results.

The top tube

the joint of the seat stays with the top tube

Tiagra rear derailleur

another shot of the joint

brake levers and Tiagra shifter

Carbon fork with Zerts inserts

And the flat/clipless pedals

Thanks

The aluminium frame Sirrus has that seat stay bridge which the carbon models lack because the whole area at the top there is filled in.

I much prefer the look the seat stay bridge provides.

Should've thought about that. Interesting piece of machinery.

That's one way to describe the contraption; I can think of more colourful descriptors.

I'm surprised to see a such a closed minded response from someone with so many posts.

That colour scheme is the best of the 2015 Trek FX's in my opinion.
