Well, "Hello World"

It was suggested my first post not be an "appraisal" question, but an intro piece, so here I am.

A little about me? Well, I'm a dashing mid 40's fella in Scottsdale, AZ.

I was bitten by the the bicycle about 15 years ago, and have been riding since. Mostly road, but have since started to do tri's and mtb.

I am a firm believer in the Velominati N+1 rule of bike ownership, and catch much guff from the wife.

These are the steeds in my stable:

My proud and joy is my road bike which is a '08 Colnago EP(custom team paint) with Campagnolo Record 11 group. Next to my wife and child, the only other thing in life, I would jump in front a moving vehicle for.

A 2015 Turner Sultan MTB with SRAM XX1 for silly mountain rides that are nowhere near as enjoyable as a good road ride.

2013 BMC TT02 for triathlons. And for **** sake does running AND swimming suck when pared with a beautiful piece of two wheeled machinery.

My hauling commuter is a 2012 Handsome Cycles/Twin Six Speedy Devil collaboration steel frame rando bike I ride to work. With full Linus canvas panniers, mustache bars, Velo Orange fenders and cranks. A freak beauty.

And for faster, less complicated commuting, I have a 1980 Benotto Paris-Roubaix, with campy group, and wheelset. Another freakin accidental beauty.

A lot of parts in the garage, and love working on my bikes to the dismay of the LBS. I know, but I'm an engineer by training, so i can fix anything(just ask my wife).

I also have a Alex Singer E.Csuka frame i've mentioned earlier, and have come to realize I have found a diamond in the rough. Shall I sell or rebuild. ARGH!!!!

So that's me. In the garage, fixing things, or and spending time in the pedals. What could possibly be better than that?

Thanks, Richard
